recording multiple tracks

i am currently using a behringer uca222 to record one stereo track, i want to know if there is a way i can use the stereo mic input on my laptop at the same time so i can record two stereo tracks.i have had a few attempts but havent got it to work yet.

Nor has anyone else. Audacity will only record from one Sound Device -- generally one stereo track. There were people who managed to record multiple tracks, but they did it with special hardware and software drivers. I'll see if I can find the posting.

thanks koz, i thought i was being a bit optimistic that i would be able to without extra gear or expensive programs, or both, i would still be interested in seeing that post if you can find it though.
