[1.3.12] Does Audacity 1.3.12 support GSnap?

Here's my Audacity 1.3.12 setup:
Audacity 1.3.12
-- with the LADSPA plug-in 0.4.15 installer.
-- with the LAME MP3 encoder.
-- with GSnap and it's other effects.

So I open the GSnap in the Effect rollout, setting it's value according to some of the youtube's tutorials.
However, I found that GSnap doesn't compile much. After I pressed the "OK" button, the compile bar just flash, and change only a little to the track. Even the preview compile bar last longer than the real compile.

I tested the other G-Effects, they are all functional. Only GSnap won't.
I read the document that 1.3.12 doesn't need VST enabler since it is build-in. But whatever I install it or not, nothing happened when I rescan Audacity.

Please help! I really want to use GSnap for some voice-tuning effects.

I'll move this topic (you posted in the Audacity 1.2 part of the forum).
Yes GSnap does work with Audacity 1.3.12, though the MIDI features are not available (Audacity does not support MIDI).

I've used it with Audacity 1.3.12 on Windows XP (SP3). The VST enabler should not be installed.

What settings are you using in GSnap?
Try using it on a generated "Chirp" (from the Generate menu) to establish if it is doing anything.

I don't know what settings should I should try so I try many key and scale in the default Subtle setting, nothing seen in the Gsnap panel.
I use Gsnap on the "Chirp" have some effect through, but only a red/green line appear and disappear within a 1/10 second.

The display on the left of the GSnap interface provides real-time visual output of what the effect is doing.
Audacity does not support real-time effects, so not surprisingly the real-time display does not work correctly.

To use GSnap with all the features working you need to use a VST host program that supports real-time effects and MIDI (for example, Cakewalk, Cubase, Reaper, Sonar ...)

Does that mean I can't use some voice files, which is in wav format, when I use GSnap?
I have some voice clips from games (mono wav file), and I want to use them as a testing for Gsnap. Nothing has happened as I mentioned before.
HELP!
