Best solution in terms of extra work so far: put extra labels at the start of the second side equal to the number of tracks on the first side. Export multiple genrates a bunch of ~.1 second flac files containing silence that can be deleted, and the real tracks have the right numbers in both file names and tags.

I guess it's time to look at the scripting language.

The closest I've done to that had one track on each side. One track spanning both sides?

so what do you do for a *second* album?

this does not compute!
if you can export multiple albums okay
you can export multiple sides okay

and if you cant export a second album
then there are big problems with the logic in the code

and you still have the problem with eg nero and the names
unless you manually enter numbers in the label field starting with 11
(starting with 1 leads to the same out of sequence problem with nero)
