I am very new to this so it could well be me doing something wrong.

I do not appear to have the 'Project Menu' option along the tool bar and as a result cannot run the 'QuickMix' option. The Beta version is loaded and running under XP Pro.

I would appreciate any help

The menu layout has changed a bit (for the better) in v.1.3.x
Most of the "Project" menu functions are now in the "Tracks" menu.
"Quick Mix" is now called "Mix and Render"

An what's more - Mix & Render in 1.3.4 now works properly by obeying the mute/solo buttons on the track control boxes - in 1.2 this was a bug.
