I have installed Version 1.3 from a CD suplied with Ion deck I have just bought and although I can see on the screen that the file is being created, I acnnot hear anything through the headphones and there is no sound on playback through Audacity. I have tried all the combinations I can see in preferneces and I have followed Audacity wiki guidance on what to do in the "Sound" area of the controol panel, but nothing changes. I expect it's just my lack of knowledge of how these things work, but can anyone help me please?
Fingers crossed
Andy

USB turntables are not playback devices for the computer. Assuming your headphones are connected to "audio out" of the computer you need to set the "playback device" in Audacity Preferences and the Windows system playback device to the inbuilt computer sound device. See:
