Need Help Splitting Long Recording - 1.3.12 (Beta)
I am trying to split a long recording, which I used to be able to do in my earlier version on Windows XP. But I cannot figure it out on the newer version 1.3.12 (Beta), and I'm using Windows 7. Any help would be appreciated.

Steve, thank you. I will try this. It was different in the earlier version of Audacity I was used to, but this looks like it may work. At first blush, this looked like splitting during recording, while I am wanting to split a pre-recorded mp3 file. But I see some instructions which look similar to what I used to do. I appreciate your time very much. Thanks sincerely.
