Windows 7. I accidentally deleted the recording icon for the USB Codec. I didn't think it would immediately delete it but it did (didn't need APPLY). How do I get it back?

Re: Lost Microphone USB Codec
If you are talking about the "Sound" applet in the Windows control panel, right-click anywhere while you are on the Recording tab and check "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices". If the USB codec does not reappear, make sure the USB cable is properly connected at both ends.idiotmitten wrote:Windows 7. I accidentally deleted the recording icon for the USB Codec. You can read how to set up and record from USB devices on the Wiki.

That worked. Thanks. I never would have thought of doing that.
