Linking is pretty much the same idea as before, but a bit more limited and focused - the idea is to keep audio tracks in a group synchronised so that a timeline change in one audio track in the group affects all tracks in the group. A group of audio tracks is now delimited by (but not dependent upon) having a label track underneath them. In other words an audio track underneath a sole label track is not in the group above the label track, but if you removed the label track, all the audio tracks would then be in a group.waxcylinder wrote:Iv'e just noticed we've got linking back in 1.3.13 - no idea how to use it or what it's for though
I've enabled linking in the Windows "Nightly" just so we can get testing on it - If you find any bugs with linking, please report them to [email protected] Linking has not been officially re-enabled yet, and probably won't be until we make the indication of "sync-selected" tracks in the group look less like a "prison camp", and get the linking icon out of the track name.
