Crashing..quite a lot

Post by driveslow » Wed May 05, 2010 8:47 pm

My Audacity 1.3.12 beta is great, and I got it today. I used the auto tune plugin with great success, but the only problem is, my computer keeps completely rebooting when I do use it.
I have Vista Home Edition, and i'm not sure if i used the term reboot correctly above but just to clarify, my screen goes blue, and Windows tells me about checking new hardware software etc.

Is there anything that can be done to prevent this kind of crashing?

Thanks :)

If you're refering to Tom Baran's "Autotalent", then it may be worth commenting on this thread to say that you have this problem on Windows Vista.
