error
I hate how whenever i try to record something it says error opening sound device and then it says please check input settings.......What the hell.....can anybody help please?
Re: error
That message means that Audacity is unable to access a sound device with your current settings.
I can't really say more without knowing what sound device you are trying to use and what your settings are (both in Audacity and the sound settings in Windows). It would also be useful to know what version of Windows you are using.
If you are using a USB audio device, it needs to be connected and recognised by Windows before you launch Audacity.

<<<whenever i try to record something>>>
When most people say that, they mean recording from the internet like YouTube. Is that what you're doing?
