Hi,
I have been messing with this program for a week now and have read everything I could find but I still have 2 problems.
1st problem I can't seem to e mail projects (Small ones) to my buddy.
We were wanting to send ideas to each other and record our ideas back and forth.
2nd I can't seem to add a audio track to a project. It won't recognize the wav file.
I wanted to add a song to a track.
Use it as the layout to try and record myself.
Hope this is an easy one to help me with.
Much thanks in advance!

Audacity Projects are not sound files. If you do want to send a Project, it's best if you two are in exactly the same Audacity version and you need to send the AUP file and the _DATA folder. You should probably Zip them into one archive package before emailing to avoid damage.
Do either of you include sound files as part of the show? Then you both need to change one setting.
Edit > Preferences > Projects > Copy all audio...Safer.
If you don't do that, the project will arrive without all the sound files you included.
Audacity will not automatically open up every sound file ever made. If you found one you can't, then Audacity may not understand what kind of file it is. Convert to WAV with Super or Switch (download). One is free.
There's another one, too. fubar2000? Something like that?
Almost all email services have a data limit. You can't email 4GB DVD movie files.
I've known people on a communication service play live with each other no matter where in the world they are.
