Hello all.. Just getting used to Audacity having bought a Window's laptop from having a MacBook.. This site looks like a great resource so hello everyone.
I'm trying to edit my sound clip which I'm doing using the selection tool. However, for some reason I cannot select the clip I want - Audacity is making me select the clip in 1 second steps? I've looked for an option to allow me to choose the parts of the clip I want to edit but cannot find anything.
Could somebody please assist?

Unchecking the snap to box at the bottom sorted it!
