Hello everyone,

since version 1.3.11 I'm unable to install Audacity on my PC.
As soon as I double click the .Exe-file, the following error message shows up:

"Stream Read Error"

I don't even come to the install-menue.
I have Windows 2000 and the PC where I want to install Audacity is an offline-PC.
May this be the reason ?

Try the zip version of the download.

The zip version of 1.3.12 is available here:
http://audacity.googlecode.com/files/au ... 1.3.12.zip

Copy the zip file to your offline PC and extract to the directory where you want Audacity to reside, (Usually C:Program FilesAudacity)
