First Act USB guitar cable won't recognize
I've been searching through the wiki pages of Audacity, and other sources. However No where can I find out why my First act USB guitar cable won't show up under recording devices in audacity. I did have it working at one time, but now it won't recognize it. The PC picked it up, but still audacity refuses to recognize it.

Which Windows?
Do you know if the device uses ASIO software or drivers? Audacity doesn't get along very well with ASIO software. If you're in Win7, you should go straight up and see if there are any driver or software updates. Audacity supports the Windows drivers just fine.
