How does one download and install audacity beta? All I see is info. How do I actually install it on my windows 7?

I thought we were leaning toward a .ZIP file rather than the .EXE installer, but OK.
Download the file and double click on it. It should install itself. Follow instructions.

You won't see the .exe on the end of the file name. Widows likes to hide that to "help you." If you right click on the file > Properties, Windows should tell you the file is a windows installer or executable or something like that.
I think it's still possible to force Windows, even WIn7, to show you real file names if you care.
