.cwp & sonar

I have lost access to my SONAR program because I can't migrate it to my new computer. I want to switch to Audacity but it doesn't seem that FFmpeg has .cwp support. Or else I am not using FFmpeg right. My understanding is that you just download it, tell Audacity where the 'library' is, Done and Done. So tell me is there a step I missed or if there is another plug-in for .CWP files import?

If you have installed ffmpeg correctly, then when you click Edit > Preferences > Libraries, you will see the ffmpeg library version number in the preferences window.
Having said that, I'm not sure whether .cwp is supported. It doesn't appear in the list of supported formats, which you can get by clicking
File > Export > Save as Type (dropdown) > Custom FFmpeg Export > Options.

.CWP files are not supported by FFMpeg.
These are "Cakewalk Project" files, and as far as I'm aware they are only supported by Cakewalk/Sonar products.

With the my point of view A .CWP file is known as a Cakewalk SONAR Project. This file extension was added to our database by a visitor to this site, but no further information was provided. We have yet to investigate the CWP file extension any further, or there was simply not enough information available at the time to report accurately on this format. However, it is possible that other file formats exist that use the CWP extension.

.CWP has been used by Cakewalk since way before "Sonar". If you want more information for your "database" you can look it up here:
