Audacity Forum

I just downloaded Audacity.1.3.11 When I click on the red button to record, I get the message 'Error while opening sound devices. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate."
I did that and everything looks OK. What do I need to do?

Try Audacity 1.3.11 - it supports a lot more hardware than the old 1.2.6 version.
If that does not fix it, please post in the section of the forum that is appropriate for your operating system (Windows/Mac/Linux) and give a full description of your set-up including what sort of sound card/computer/operating system.... (too much information is better than not enough)
