newbie help please...not showing

hi all
just got deck to transfer music to comp..
put latest driver but comp not showing deck
in prefs getting no USB CODEC.
running xp with reltek sound card
please help been trying for hours

It may help if you tell us which USB TT you have.

Are you connecting the USB TT prior to starting up Audacity? If not you should do that.

yes tryed that still nothing
is there a way of testing usb lead

usb comp device ready
uac3556b device ready
usb interface device ready
is coming up when lead plugged in
but no usb in sound
