Plug Ins Not Appearing In List

Hello, whenever I put a new plug in into the folder 'C/ProgramFiles/Audacity1.3/PlugIn', it doesn't show up when I next open audacity.
Could someone help me with my problem please?

There's a couple of possible reasons:
1) it is not a supported plug-in
2) It is a VST effect and you need to "refresh" the list of VST plug-ins.
To refresh the VST effects list, go to "Edit menu > Preferences > Effects" and select "Rescan VST..." then restart Audacity.
