Just started with Audacity and hope to copy my old LPs to CD. Have the hardware all setup and tested 1 LP so far all appears to be working.
Now I wish to start to cleanup the audio before making a music CD. I cant find tools in Audacity to do this.
It may be my inexperience but the things I am looking for are "pop and click removal" "hiss removal" "noise between track removed" and so on.
Is there tools in Audacity for this?
Is there a guide on cleaning up audio such as this available?
Has anyone some experience doing this in Audacity?

The tools you want are available under the Effects menu - you will need to select some audio for the effects to become operable.
Audacity does have Click Removal (but it's not the sharpest chisel in the tool-box).
Instead for my click&pop removal I use an excellent little piece of software called ClickRepair - it costs a little ($40) but is well worth it IMHO - see this sticky thread that I created:
