Hi,
I have used audacity for a while, but not done anything fancy with it at all. All I've used it for is to record old cassette tapes. I never had any problems with it, but a few days ago (after not using it for about a week) I've had something weird going on.
When I try to record only the top line shows any activity. The sounds comes out with an echo. It sounds to me (uneducated me) like it is trying to do stereo, but both on one 'channel' and it isn't syncing well.
I hope someone can understand what I'm trying to explain and help me with this problem.
(BTW - when I play the tapes - before hitting the record button - or if I stop recording while the tape is still going - this problem stops.... It is only with RECORDING in audacity...)
Set for stero but playing on only one 'channel' and has 'ech
