extending silence
Hi, Having edited part of my recording of an L.P. I find that I have left only about 1second of silence at the start of my 1st song. Thinking that I will need about 3secs. to add my label, is there any way that I can extend this silence? I am using Aud. 1.3.10 . Thanks. Roy Windmill. P.S this is the 3rd time that I have typed this message, because although I logged in, the screen asked me to log in again, and I lost my message!

Re: extending silence
Roy,
just place your cursor where the silence is required - and go to Generate > Silence...
The pop-up dialog box will let you choose the length of silence you require.
BTW: You don't need any "time" to add a point label - I typically leave a 0.5 second run-un and a 1.5 second run-out for tracks that I record.

Re: extending silence
Hi w.c. Your advice on extending silence worked a treat. And I will try your suggested timing between tracks. Many thanks. Roy
