How to make gap between songs?

My CD player won't skip the songs. It skips the songs if it play CD that was bought in a store, but not that I recorded on Audacity. I have to listen CD from the begining to the end istead of the certain songs. What need to be done in terms of recording so that CD player can skip songs? I use Windows XP and Audacity 1.3.10 Beta. Thank you.

Audacity 1.3.10 has a bug which will cause problems when you try to create multiple tracks from a single recording.

You will need to upgrade to 1.3.11, which you can get from here:
