TT not recognised

Post by printmeister » Sat Feb 27, 2010 1:32 pm

Hi,
I hope you don't mind me asking this question, as it's not really an Audacity problem, but I've googled 'til I'm blue in the face and can't find an answer. :x

I have 2 PC's, one with XP Pro and the other with XP Media Center 2005.

My Skytronic TEC-3100 USB TT is recognised ok on the XP Pro PC and works a treat with Audacity, so the TT is not faulty.

However, when I plug it into the Media Center PC it says 'USB device not recognised'
I've tried different USB leads (that work with other USB devices) but no luck.
Other USB devices work OK in all the ports. (2 at the front, 2 onboard at the back and 2 on a PCI card)
I've tried to find an answer from Microsoft, but failed. I'm hoping that someone here may have experienced a similar problem.

Thanks in Advance
John.
