I want to put effects on my songs, but when i go to the Effects tab, all of the available effects are grayed out; I cannot click them. I can read what they all are, but I cant click them!
Help!
I have Windows 7, and am using the Beta version, but I still should be able to use Effects... HELP PLEASE!

You need to have some audio selected (click and drag on a track, or press Ctrl+A to select all)
Audacity must be "Stopped". Effects are not available when playing, recording, or if it is on "Pause".
