Can I record in Vox format?

I need to record a voice over in vox format. Can I do this using Audacity? and How?. Thanks so much. Jennymuse

Audacity always records in high quality "WAV" format higher or lower depending on its settings. After you capture the job, you can export in a number of different sound formats, but I don't think VOX in one of them. It's possible the FFMpeg plugin knows what that is.

You can also export a high quality WAV sound file and convert it to other things with Super or Switch (download).

Audacity is not a very good converter.
