unsure if audacity will record teleseminar

Greetings,
I am nearly finished migrating into Win7 Pro in the 64-bit flavor.
I am 'beginner' status with audacity - had good luck with editing/splicing/exporting on XPsp3 32-bit platform, but had not tried to record.
Have latest LAME.
Only using integrated sound - no card.
Unable to find a way to get settings to allow recording of a teleseminar.
What have I missed ?
What do I need to check or verify ?
Thanks !

<<<recording of a teleseminar.>>>
Need to know a lot more about that. Is this special software that allows you to participate in the seminar, or it a simple web page that you sit with a cup of tea and watch? Describe the steps you need to perform to see the seminar.

Non-restricted access - opening either one page, or onto a second web page, then click on "listen" button - these are audio not video.
Not sure of "new" file type, but these will not respond to "right-click to download", where I was able to simply download in earlier months. I guess this is some new way to protect files, but have the same problem with Youtube stuff.
-also-
saw one demo (Youtube, I think) that displayed a button for selecting source - do not have a button like that in my install.
Discovering the same situation whether it is real-time or visiting it as a replay.

To record sounds playing on your computer you should ideally set the default recording input to Stereo Mix by going to the Windows Control Panel and setting it there.

Thanks very much, guys,
The comment on rt-clk to find disabled devices was quite helpful, and managed to expose that the only device possible to add was CD Audio.
I now show Aux-ready, Microphone-ready, Microphone-default, CD Audio-ready, and Line-In-ready.
No drivers would accept being updated, and windoze claims it is totally happy that everything is up to date and "working properly".
These questions started with a Lenovo box using XPsp3 over dual-core Athlon that did not survive Win 7 due to mobo and memory and power mgmt issues.
I just launched an HP dual quad Xeon workstation.
Looks like I need to buy a sound card since neither o/s nor hardware can get me up to "sound mix" ??
I guess that would explain why audacity can't show a button to select since there is no device to recognize ?

Well. As the version of Windows goes up, the hostility to recording internet audio goes up. Last known, Mix-Out was a "Hidden" or Obsolete" tool and you had to go digging for it.
Did you go down all the threads in that instruction page? This is not a new problem.

That's only the free way to do it. If nothing else works, you can use Total Recorder or other Windows software package. I've used my license for years.
