Im trying to record from my computer with Audacity. I have a older audigy 2 sound card and Im using the KX project drivers. I tried 1.2 and the mixer was greyed out, I heard the 1.3 had more hardware support. Now my mixer isnt greyed out, but it only gives me one option, mixer recorder and I still cant get it to stereo mix or whatever it needs to be in to record from the computer. Anybody have any ideas on what settings I have to use to get the program to work with my driver?

The Kx Project drivers are very flexible and high performance, but also rather complicated to set up. It's a while since I've used them (I'm now on Linux not Windows) but from what I remember, virtually all of the set-up is done through the Kx driver interface. In Audacity, just set the Recording and Playback devices to use the Kx drivers, then do the rest of the set-up in the driver interface.
Take care to avoid feedback loops - with the Kx drivers you can route just about any input to any output. Read all of the documentation for the Kx drivers, and find out as much information about your sound card as you can. There may be a few surprises, for example on my old SBLive sound card, the Kx drivers set the rear outputs as the main outputs as the default (because the sound quality was better through the rear outputs).
