Audacity Forum

I tried to open a new Audacity file ( I'm using Beta 1.3), and it only opens in full screen mode. I normally open a file in a partial screen so I can read the words that I recorded to help me edit the file. Why can I not get a partial screen?!

Why can't you un-maximize it in the normal way with the button in the top right corner of the window (just like any other Windows application)? What happens if you try that?
