what is sence of use Lame installer which installing lame_enc.dll into separate folder
C:Program FilesLame for Audacity, instead of placing lame_enc.dll into Audacity installation folder (C:Program FilesAudacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode), or in the Plug-Ins folder inside that) and which was in Audacity 1.2.x?

Good question. The obvious place to install to would be the Audacity installation folder. However, there is no guarantee that the Audacity installation folder will be where it is expected to be. If the ZIP version of Audacity is used then it could be "installed" anywhere (even on a USB memory stick). Audacity 1.2.x and Audacity 1.3.x have different default install folders.
