Whenever I press the record button I get an error that says:

Error while opening sound device. Please check the input device settings and the project sample rate.

This is really annoying me. please help.

What are you trying to record? That makes a big difference in what we tell you. You can't give us too much information. Model numbers? cable types?

Im trying to record my guitar using an input device called the m-audio fast track usb, it lets you plug your guitar into the computer.
