USB Interface

I have a USB Phono Plus Audiophile Computer Interface (ARTcessories) that I am trying to use so that I can record from my PA system. All I can get is the recording from the computer microphone. I have a line hooked from the USB phono preamp phone line in to the output main (left or right). The PA system is a EMX88s powered mixer. Can someone help me get to where I can record from the PA system?
Thank you.

The USB interface must be connected to the computer and recognised by Windows before you start Audacity.
Check in the Windows Control Panel that the USB interface is enabled as a recording input (see here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... ng_devices )
Then Open Audacity and go to Edit menu > Preferences > Devices and select the USB device as the recording input.
Ensure that the sample rate (in the Quality tab of Preferences) is set to a rate that is supported by the sound card (usually 44100Hz or 48000 Hz).
