No Mixer Input in Preferences - Windows 7

Post by lowatts » Thu Jan 14, 2010 12:30 pm

Just installed 1.3.10 on my new Dell Inspiron 545 with Windows 7 Premium 64-bit and Realtek HD audio driver.

Somehow no input options are listed in Audacity's preferences drop down box (microphone and Microsoft Sound Mapper is listed if I plug in a microphone but nothing else). The computer is able to output sound such as from web radio. I've checked all the Windows sound and Realtek control panel settings I can find, also search this forum, but no luck.

Any ideas on how to fix this is much appreciated.
