Hi everyone,
First time on here, looks good!
Having dabbled with both cubase and audacity, I am considering migrating towards using audacity more because its more simple and I like to use freeware. However alot of my recordings are already done on cubase. In cubase i often used a plugin for di bass guitar called amplitube. As far as Im aware it is popular, yet it isnt listed on the audacity wiki plugin list.
I have tried reinstalling the program so that it now exists in audacity plugin folder, but it doesnt show up in the effects toolbar. I managed to get another plugin to work doing it this way, maybe amplitube cannot be used with audacity....
does anyone know?
Thanks

Re: Amplitube and other plugins
No guarantees, but try with the latest version of Audacity (1.3.11 from here http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php? ... tly_Builds )
Copy the plug-in to the plug-ins folder and in the Edit menu tell Audacity to "Rescan for new effects". Then restart Audacity.
If it doesn't work then it's probably not supported.

Re: Amplitube and other plugins
Im afraid you may be right, I tried what you suggested and no cigar.
Are there any other plugins for bass guitar amp modelling that audicty supports that I could try? I will post this as a separate post if there arent many responses...
Thanks, symeboy
