Can Audacity record tv programmes?

Can Audacity record tv programmes?

Audacity is an audio recorder and editor - so it would only record the sound of a TV program and not the picture.

I use my hard disk PVR for original capture and then transfer to my PC with a Pinnacle Video Transfer device which records onto a clip-drive. There are many other ways of doing this.

Thanks for your help, ive done the audio from tv, i copied some voice clips from the film Superman and transfered it to the Superman theme, remix miestro hehe
