Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADJUST THE VOICE RETURN IN THE HEADPHONES WHILE RECORDING? (because it´s a little delayed)

Yes it is. You're talking about listing to yourself sing, right? That's one of the serious shortcomings of using your computer to do everything during a recording.

Dig in Audacity Preferences (I think) Audio I/O. Hardware Playthrough and Software Playthrough are the two settings that affect your problem. Software Playthrough almost always works on most computers, but that's the one with the most delay. Hardware Playthrough is usually the most successful, but not all computers support it

Anyone doing studio level recording is pointed to one of the external sound devices that let you listen to the device/mixer/preamp rather than the computer. This will get a lot more fun when you try the next step of singing to yourself. That delay, at least, you can tune out with the Audacity 1.3 Latency settings.

Windows computers are business computers and designed for Skype phone calls, not theatrical production.
