Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Local browser for help

Post by DR01TSPC » Wed Dec 23, 2009 4:09 am

I just downloaded 1.3.10(beta) for Windows (XP SP3). The local browser help (Quick or Manual) doesn't
work. I can start the local help (Manual) by going to C:Program FilesAudacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode)helpmanualindex.html.

How cab I set the software/files up to access help through the Help menu?

Tim

Where did you download Audacity from? (exact page would be useful so that we can check the download)

In your programs folder do you have only one Audacity installation folder, or do you have any previous versions installed?

Try completely uninstalling Audacity and manually delete any Audacity folders, then re-install. Does that fix it?
