I have tried botht he 1.26 version and the lastest 1.3 beta version with the same results.
I'm using Windows 7 and can't get any audio to Audacity from the speaker sound. I used it with Windows XP on the same computer with no problem.
Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: No input audio
Vista had some special considerations about recording internal audio (YouTube, etc), and Windows 7 is even specialer.
Windows Control Panel

This is all I know about. If someone who is using Win7 drops in, we'll know more.
"Mix-Out" or "What-U-Hear" is a joint dance by the sound card, the card drivers, and the Operating System. If any one of them decides to stop supporting it, that's the ball game. Microsoft has been making this process harder and harder with each new Windows.
I use a nice license of Total Recorder. I don't know if they have a Win7 version yet. I know they support Vista.

Re: No input audio
I looked at the page you linked to and tried all the combinations for device setup and checked the Windows control panel, but nothing seemed to work. Will watch for another Win 7 user that has it working. Or anyone else who has a good idea. . . .
Thanks,
Harvey
