I just got Windows 7 on my laptop. The Podcaster worked wonderfully with Audacity in XP. When I first plugged it in, Windows didnt recognize it but somehow it is listed as the default mic now and listed as "working properly". When I begin recording in Audacity, there is no audio, no movement of the graphs etc. I am only semi-literate with computers so if anyone has any help for me...explain as though I was a 10-year-old...on second thought, pretend I am a 70-year-old.

I feel like an idiot. Just figured out the correct settings for my mic in the edit dropdown. Sorry for sounding dumb.
