Hi,
I use Audacity on Windows XP. I was attempting to install 1.3.10 over 1.3.9 and got some odd error messages
In the directory ... Audacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode)helpmanualskinscommon (and also ... monobook) the installer tried to convert the the pre-exisiting files commonprint.css and iefixes.js to directories and create files called (respectively) 207.css and 207 in those directories, with the file contents being apparently what was in the files that it wanted to convert to directories.
I have just ignored the error messages and left the old versions of the files unchanged.

Audacity 1.3.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.
The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Find the folder C:Program FilesAudacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode)help and delete it (the "help" folder). Then install Audacity 1.3.10 again.
