Hi - I'm trying to remove a 100ms portion of a sound track. The selection tool, however, seems only able to be placed at each second. The portion I want to delete is between 12.6 and 12.7 seconds but the selection line either goes to 12.00 or 13.00 seconds. I've tried experimenting with PREFERENCES>PLAYBACK>SEEK-TIME but without success. Any ideas?

Remove the tick from "Snap To" in the selection toolbar at the bottom of the main Audacity window.
