importing my songs from audacity 1.2.6 to 1.3.9
I am trying to import my songs from 1.2.6 to 1.3.9 audacity programme but it doesn't import properly. its just a noise that last a second. I have tried importing it raw but this makes no difference. can someone tell me how to import it please. thanks.

WAV music files and Audacity Projects will open up "upstream," that is, higher Audacity programs will open up shows from lower ones.
If, however, you used FFMpeg or another plugin to create MP4 or other advanced format music, then you will need to install FFMpeg on the new Audacity to read the files.
