Echo on playback after editing
I have imported a WAV digital recording and I am now trying to edit it to use in teaching / conferences. However, once i have deleted a segment and then try to play it back, there is a time delay / echo on the play back. Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong?

But it plays perfectly correctly before you delete a selection?
Where did you get the WAV file from? Windows likes to hide file information. You'd be shocked the number of people that think all music files on a Windows machine are either Windows Media or MP3.

Hi, yes it plays fine before i delete it. the WAV file is from a voice (not music) recording that i have made of an interview. it is as if on deleting the segment it saves 2 versions of the same file and it plays both at the same time - with a time lag between them.
