Can't hear sound while my USB turntable is connected BUT...

Can't hear sound while my USB turntable (Lenco) is connected BUT I can hear the sound I've recorded in Audacity.

Like if I record 10 sec's of audio from vinyl in Audacity, I can play the sound in Audacity afterwards - I can't play the sound WHILE I'm recording.

So how do I get the rest of my computer to be able to play, while the USB turntable is connected??

And how do I get it so that I hear what I record when I record it, and NOT just afterwards??
