Sorting the genre list

How can I sort the Genre list in the metadata screen for exporting to MP3? It is a real pain to have to look through the entire list to find the item want. I can't find where the list is stored so that it could be sorted.

Click on the "Genres > Edit" button and enter your preferred list.
