PROGRAM APPEARS TO RUN IN SAFE MODE

I would like to know why when I run Audacity It appears to run in the safe mode. The icons are green in color and appear to have half moons around them, also when you go to the start menu it appears distorted. I know I went to the properties and changed the 32 bit. It changes the color, but the format for the play, pause, record etc. are not like they are suppossed to be when the program was installed. I also removed the program and re-installed it again, and it is still doing the same thing.

Can you send us a screenshot? Also, tell us what version of Audacity are you running. And what is your operating system?

I'm not sure I know what you are talking about. What happens when you change this back?

I also removed the program and re-installed it again, and it is still doing the same thing.

Sometimes it can be helpful to reset your preferences. To do this, follow the directions here. Make sure you put the line 'NewPrefsInitialized=1' in your .cfg file.
