I'm sorry to trouble you but I have been searching all over the Internet for hours for solutions and I'm on the verge of tears and my wine is empty!
Basically what I want to do is this,
I want to put a narration to a powerpoint but I want to record my narration with audacity and then edit it in Camtasia byy bringing the slides in adropping them in the right places. I figured it would be easy and it seems to be other than whenever I play back the audio in mp3 format or wav - it's silent.
So - I tested some stuff - I tried to do the same in Windows Movie maker and the same thing happened - so I thought maybe the file was corrupt, but it played back fine in my HP media centre - so it was there.
So I did the same thing again, only this time I just recorded a few seconds of some (potty mouthed) language, saved it as both mp3 and wav and this impoted fine into both windows and camtasia. So - be a glutton for punishment - I re-recorded my longer narrative and saved in both formats - only to find the same thing happened again.#
So - after about 6 hours of too-ing and fro-ing - downloading codecs for windows and various mp3 convertery things - I am going insane - but have come to a slight conclusion
I really hope one of you guys can help me, I'm on a deadline for monday to get some tutorials done - I just never figured that something so simple would take up so much time.
many thanks in advance
