Windows Vista: Listening while recording.

Hi,

Today I installed your new 1.3.9 Beta program.

I'm trying to record a second track while listening to the first one! It says that I should go to Edit > Preferences > Audio I/E.....and then to ensure that "Play Other Tracks" is ON!

My big problem is that, when I go into "Preferences", there is absolutely no sign of "Audio I/E" ......so I'm STUCK!!! Any thoughts as to what I'M doing wrong?

I would REALLY like to resolve this problem a.s.a.p. as I need to complete a project today!

It's now been moved to the Recording tab in Preferences

Hi, I'm back! I have tried to record again.......while listening to First Track.......but my second track is just coming up BLANK! It is NOT onto my recording my SECOND track. Any thoughts please....??? Thanks, Eddie.

Can't comment about how it works on Vista as I run XP on both my machines.

Just tested on my XP-HE m/c and the second track records fine - while playing the first track at the same time.

You do have both the Overdub and the Sofware Playthrough checked ?
