Bill: In the detailed case I reported in my second message, I don't think I had any labels set yet.
(But, it is possible that I missed noting that detail. I do sometimes set a label to mark the start of the second side, before I start editing. It is possible that I did so yesterday, even though I don't think I did).
I will report back if I see this again.
Has this known bug been already fixed in the nightly build? If so then, per Steve's suggestion, I'll test in the latest nightly.
In any event, using Ctrl-k instead of Ctrl-x does solve the problem for me. (But, I'll continue to test with ctrl-x, to help nail the bug, if it still remains. I still have a few hundred more LPs to record, so plenty of chances!)

Yes, this was fixed a couple of weeks ago in the nightlies, so you might want to try that. The specific bug related to Edit > Cut with linked tracks ON and a label track in existence.deg wrote:Bill: In the detailed case I reported in my second message, I don't think I had any labels set yet.

But I still can't reproduce this with 1.3.9 and no label track.
