Panning left to right

I want to pan a single track left to right and repeating is there an effect to do this or do I have to split into seperate tracks and go back and forth between? Any help is appreciated!

The "LFO panning" plug-in is probably what you want:

There are also a couple of other panning effects on that page that you may want to try such as "panlfo2a.ny "
